TOP DAWG GROOMING SALON opened in 1998 by present owner, RANDY HERRON. Randy owned IT'S A PET'S WORLD PET STORE AND GROOMING in the atlanta area in the 80's and apprenticed under his groomer there. Randy owned, bred, showed and groomed miniature schnauzers for over 20 years, until he became proud owner of his first Giant Schnauzer, SLADE, in 1996. He is now a member of the Giant Schnauzer Rescue Group, and rescues Giant Schnauzers, when needed, in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. Presently, he has three giants of his own. A pet groomer for over 25 years, Randy loves the unconditional love and personalities of each pet that comes into his salon. "What better profession could there possibly be than working with some of God's creatures...dogs and cats. It is truly a joy to come to work each day", Randy states. Randy can groom all breeds and do competition stylings.

JESUS CERVANTES began at TOP DAWG in 2004 on a work program from Dalton High School and never left. He was trained by Randy and Matt Shigekawa (now at TOP DAWG's affiliate BARK AVENUE in Chattanooga). Jesus loves having a different breed on his table each day and working his styling skills especially with pomeranians, cats, bichons, and large breeds. Jesus serves as Manager at TOP DAWG.

SUMMER BETTIS came to TOP DAWG in 2005 and was trained as a bather. She worked her way up to pet stylist and Assistant Manager at TOP DAWG after being trained by Randy and Matt. Her specialties include shihtsus, poodles, yorkies and schnauzers. Summer can groom all breeds. She is the loving owner of a Standard Poodle,

a Giant Schnauzer and a Boxer.

SAMANTHA "Sam" WEEKS found her niche at TOP DAWG last year and serves as TOP DAWG's excellent bather. She is now being trained to do maintenance on the dogs coming in to the salon. Sam is the owner of

a miniature schnauzer and two chihauhaus.

CHRISSIE MOORE is the TOP DAWG MOBILE PET SPA stylist and began on the mobile in January of 2008. The mobile comes to your house and grooms one-on-one in the convenience of your driveway. Crissie worked and trained at TOP DAWG in early 2001. She has worked at a local vets office for five years before returning to TOP DAWG last year to run the mobile unit. She is the proud owner of three dashshunds, two cockers, one mixed lab, and five cats.
